How to Clear Browser Cache

Clearing your Web Browser Cache makes your browser load the most up to date versions of Web pages.

What is the Browser Cache?

An internet connection is slower than your computer. So, it is faster to get something to display from your local disk than it is to get it from a web page. To speed browsing online, browsers are set to download an image or file once, and then keep it i the Cache so it can be used over and over.

The cache can sometimes get confused and sometimes doesn’t show content that has been updated. Clearing your browser cache often fixes this as it removes all the stored files and delivers exactly what is stored on a web page.
